I've been trying to figure this out for some time now but have yet to get a definite answer. S13 Nismo front lower control bushings are readily available for only $10 each. S14 is impossible to find and way more $ if you do find them.

They look identical.... the only difference I could find was the inner sleeve is slightly thicker on the s14 bushing... no big deal.... still uses the same bolt diameter.

Until I laid the s13 Nismo bushing next to a s14 Energy Suspension bushing.

The recessed part starts slightly higher up on the s14 ES bushing. So it looks like if I was to press the s13 bushing into my s14 LCAs they would be off center....is this really the case? I was hoping to use these s13 nismo bushings in my s14 FLCAs.

Does anyone have both s13 and s14 FLCA ES bushings laying around so they can compare?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I ran across this long ago when doing a 5 lug conversion on my s13 with s14 spindles and lcas. Sadly enough, I purchased an ES bushing kit before the 5 lug, so I took a shot in the dark and threw the s13 control arm bushings into the s14 lca.

It's been almost 3 years, occasional track days, but mostly weekend fun. Thus far, ZERO visible or physical deformation to the bushing....

I know this isn't much help, however just throwing in my 2 cents.

The bushing isn't off center at all?

Maybe the ES bushing was still able to press in all the way due to the soft poly OD. I'm worried the Nismos metal OD won't be so forgiving.

Line up the flanges on the top and I bet the ridge you're concerned about will line up too. The surfaces you have lined up now are unimportant.

It looks like the bushing would make the arm off center if I did that....?

ES lists the z32 and s14 FLCA bushing the same and s13 bushing is its own application... same with Nismo.

Looks like my assumptions were correct. The arm would be off center if I used these. AAARGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!

The plan now is to try polishing the inside of the FLCA bushing shell so the ES poly bushing can rotate on the outer diameter.... was going to do this on the RLCAs as well.

Really sucks that Nismo discontinued these bushings... Doesn't make much sense when the s13 bushing is it's own application and the s14 bushing has the s15 and z32 applications.

Anyone want to buy these s13 FLCA nismo bushings?
