I have no idea if this is the stock KA tranny or if it was swapped when the engine was swapped?? Can anyone tell me what tranny this is and how much fluid it takes? I have 3qt's of redline mt90 on standby. Bonus points if you could describe to me where the fill plug and drain plugs are (I'm a noob I know)!

^I see the drain plug easily on the bottom, facing the ground, but cant find the fill plug. Is it up on the drivers side? Passenger side? Rear? Front?

^That.. soo much easier. Just make sure you dont spill any in the interior XD

Ok I was confused thinking they were both supposed to be the same type of plug and removed with a 1/2 wrachet, so just to make sure, the FILL plug is a square thing sticking out, correct?
I don't really want to fill it through the shifter because I read people overfilling and you can't see how much is in there, and you have to loosen the fill plug anyways to release pressure and drain all the oil right?

Jeez, you're fucking over analyzing this shit. Considering you dont seem to have a fucking clue, you trying to fill this shit thru the fill plug, you will spill more shit than you can put into it. Fill the damn thing up from the shifter, drain the thing completely and drop 3.5 qts from the shifter. You over fill it, worst case that can happen is it will spit the extra oil out either at the vents, shifter or rear shaft.

lol I knew this was coming. Yeah I am over analyzing it a lot 'cause I don't know shit about what I'm doing so just making 100% sure what I am doing is correct.
I bought a pump to use with the fill plug, but that shit is too damn hard to get to and I don't feel like buying another tool to remove it, so I guess it's gonna have to be from the shifter..

Ok now I have no idea how to get the ball part of the shifter out so I can pour oil in, I'm not made out for this shit..
Edit: I guess I have to go buy some damn o-ring pliers, double facepalm.

it's 3.5 quarts? fml i though it was 2.5 this whole time! aw crap...
Here is what I do each time. jack up the car and place in on four steelies, one under each wheel of the car so its elevated and level at the same time. Open up the fill plug (one on the side) and place a drain pan below it. Start filling the transmission from the top through the shifter hole until fluid comes out from the fill plug. Let the fluid flow out through the fill hole for a few minutes, or until its stops, then close the fill hole and re assemble the shifter/ interior. DONE!
you dont need C-clip pliers for the c-clip around the shifter, its big enough for you to use some needle nose pliers that you should have around the house.

Too late spent 15 friggin dollars on this garbage tool that almost broke lol.
Last idiotic question (hopefully): pour the tranny fluid directly into the hole below the shifter and not just anywhere down there, right?

Damn...... You couldn't just look at it and tell how to do it? It's pretty common sense. Drain plug is on the bottom of the trans, 1/2 ratchet like said above, let it drain for 10-15min. Then put thread tape (white tape that makes threads not leak) wrap some around the plug and tighten it back in. Next go inside your car, remove your shift boot, dust cover ext. There's a C-Clip just around the shifter, take some needles nose pliers and remove the clip, the shifter will then just pull straight out, full transmission with 75-90 GL4 trans fluid 3.7 quarts.
If you can't figure out how to do it the way I just wrote it out you don't need to do anything mechanical wise to your car, you def shouldn't own a 20yr old turbocharged car either. Bc that's as spoon fed as it gets.
