So I'm building my SR in my 180sx to out put about 340hp atw following standard mods,

-s15 bb t28 turbo
-front mount intercooler
-550cc injectors
-Z32 AFM
-straight through exhaust
-chipped ECU
-r200 4.1:1 diff

got most of the parts, this is a pretty standard build which many people have achieved 300-360hp but just wondering what kinda 1/4mile time you can run?

I'm planning on running semi slicks too

With that turbo I was not seeing anything, I would consider close too 360hp. At least on the dyno's I trusted. Also your diff would make you slower than me, with my 4.36. I had about 320-329 hp mustang and dynapack and on a dynojet I had 340 something cant remember but the boost for all dyno pulls was 1.25bar. The fastest time I was every able to get was 12.15 street tires and 114mph.
SWIM went back to 12.5 with slicks on the same day with the same setup.... that guy sucks ass at launching.

So I'd say you could possibly see high 11's low 12's with slicks
SWIM's engine is probably not it the best of shape, being internally stock and beaten on for 5years drift&drag with no rebuild.;)

s15 bb run out of steam around 300whp from my experiences with them. if you want to make 340-360 you need to get a 28rs or a 2871r.64. thats also asking alot with stock cams.

its not the power youll need to worry about its the traction. ive seen bolt ons s13s with 240whp it 12s. slicks with a s15 helical is what got them that time. trap speed as like 109. they just shot out of the hole nice and clean and had a nice 60 foot. 1.7 i believe.

get a nice diff and some good tires for the rear ( 16x8 with street radials atleast)

s15bb is a gt28rs, lots of people making 350hp with that turbo or the exact same setup as I plan, prob just need a real good tune, in terms of traction I plan on running semi slicks, thought about getting a gt spoiler, but since its gona mainly be a street car I donno if i want a gt spoiler on it all the time, might seem too 'rice' for the street.

First of all you are confused, which makes you secondly wrong and so on. The s15 turbo is a 2560r max hp 330, the gt28rs is the disco potato, aka 2860rs 350hp max. ;-)
I'm probably the only person that ever made 330 with the s15 turbo on an sr20. No wing is gonna give you traction out of the hole, launch control cuts out more user error. No you didn't just say rice!

Sent from my highly tuned vibrant!

do you have a dyno chart with the 330whp? how much boost were you running?

i can believe 330hp but not whp. if you did make 330whp then you have a fantastic engine and a great tuner

By no means am I good at drag racing but for what its worth I nearly have the same setup. Gt28rs (not even fully tuned), stock rims, street tires 280 tread wear @ 25psi I got a 9.754 in a 1/8 mile with a .024 reaction time. I know I can do better with lower tire pressure, and a better tune.
