maybe torque converter? or transmission... check to see that your engine is running on all 4 cylinders as well... sounds dumb but my old 240 started running on 3 at one point i couldn't notice any engine shake or nothing but there was a drop in power of course

hmmm.. well, u can try cleaning ur MAF, IAT and throttle body. if that doesn't solve it then u can also try cleaning ur injectors and replacing ur fuel filter.
..u know, u should give more details because it may also be ur TPS if it does this everytime without fail.

oh and to let u know, this type of thread doesn't belong in chat it belongs in the engine tech/tech talk sections, I believe.

+1 for these recommendations, I have personally had Fuel Filter cause an engine studder, and the my MAF has been dirty.

One last thing that does happen is the Solder Nipples inside the MAF have a tendency of breaking and when that happens you have this intermittent power loss. Basically what happens is the loose connection sends several messages from the MAF confusing the engine.

It feels like you are going forward and all of a sudden there is a violent loss of power, but then it comes back. If thats the case you can open up your MAF and resolder the 3 pins. If you need help with that PM me i can explain it more.
