When i drive in the freeway my s14 feels like it wants to slide, it starts moving pretty crazy side to side. I don't know if that has anything to do with my sub frame bushings?? Mine are really worn out already i even have the "clunk" noise when i brake hard and going reverse. Can anyone help and let me know what can be the problem.

Possibly to much caster in the rear wheels if u have aftermarket or adjustable arms

if one of your struts are blown it's probably that, it could also be out of alignment and too much caster or toe.

So replace your worn out pieces then come back to this thread

Change the strut, as a matter of fact change all four, if one is bad the others are on their way out soon

It's your strut...keep driving it and you'll spin out for no reason...physically seen it happen lol.

Check for play in your rear wheels bearings.

Fixed your analytical and grammatical error for you.

Possibly too much toe in the rear wheels

But seriously, if your alignment is whack and your struts are blown and your sub frame bushings are shot too.....Your car may have a complete mind of it's own on the freeway.

wth... why would you even be curious as to why it's doing that? Change your damn strut. Don't be stupid. Jeez.. this shit scares me.

Instead of being douche bags just help the guy and be done with it.... (The fact that people don't want to help other drivers scares me) We all have started somewhere and have had those common sense questions pass through our heads at least a couple times in our lives.

i dont think your struts would cause those symptoms..

try jacking your car up and check for play in your LCA ball joints (moving wheels up/down by hand) wheels bearings (moving wheel side to side) or even your inner/ outer tie rods (backside of front wheel (move in/out). if you feel anything loose thats most likely whats causing your car to change alignment during driving at higher speeds

This is a classic case of bad struts...trust me.

my cars felt like this but that was because i had no sway bars on at the moment
