South California... The 51st state!

Imagine how much better SoCal would be if it were the 51st state and had it's own funding and budget!
I just see a lot of positive things coming out of this. Some would disagree but SoCal does make a good chunk of the money for the state.

wow just read the article crazy, funny they exclude LA county, what about the parts of LA county that are conservative? I live in a highly republican city and wouldnt mind keeping it that way, looks like were sol if this ever goes through... what really needs to happen is to give the boot to idiotic and greedy politicians who bitch and bicker and get nothing done and there wouldnt be a need for this

I'm from Texas but i spent a total of 4 1/2 years in Cali due to the military. My friends and i have traveled from 29 all the way to the Bay. I had a better time in the BAY than i do in SOCAL. People in SOCAL try to hard! NOW to the economics of this thread! There is NO way in HELL SOCAL can be its own STATE! U have no natural resource other than fire! Your water is from Vegas, and NorCal. Bulk of your energy is from TEXAS and a few other places! Socal debt is worse than some states and most of your tech jobs are in Norcal. Conservative or Liberal, common since is needed for this state to survive. Dont get me wrong TEXAS is going to HELL in a blaze of FIRE. Back to Back dumb asses has governor has ruined the economy! Texas was one of the only states to balance it budget and have a surplus, but when u have two governors back to back who cant add 2+2 u get what u can get!

okay I wonder where the emission rules would be would they change from state to state also that would make it easier if they were different example AZ car in CA the cops have Jurisidiction over the car so selfishly that would be the best brightside lol.
