when it comes down to it, shouldn't nissan just get off their goddamn asses and carry parts like this? its like the locks on the rear brake calipers, its a hard to find tool, SO SELL THE GODDAMN THING.

just get the bit from the local Snap-On truck. That's where I got mine. They regularly stock that bit.

wth, where do i find the damn snap-on truck?

JasonNagra

If you want to go through snap-on go to the website and setup a reversation for the trcuk to come by. The driver will come to you and sell you th ebit out of the truck. It will be convenient but will be a little spendy since snap-on are the highest quality tools available (IMO).

just ask your local shop. Most shops use some snap on tools of some sort. Find out when the truck is stopping by next. I picked up the bit from the snap on guy for $20.

Be lazy, just ask someone from the board that's lives near you if you can use theirs.

sorry to bring up this old thread, but I have some info for anyone that might be in search for this bit in the future. Recently I have misplaced mine and ordered a new one from http://www.mcmaster.com/

The final price with shipping included cost just under $6.00 and I recieved it in 2 business days after I placed the order.
