Where to get some good snap ring pliers that do not break? Im tired of using cheap ones and having to either dremel a angle into them to grab the ring and keep on breaking the tips..

you guys think this is decent? Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00947412000P?prdNo=3&blockNo=3&blockType=G3)

there is no descent set. there's just less sucky... we do turbos at work and with rusty clips etc on cores. All manufacturers sets break. They just break less often the more they cost. The nice craftsman ones are the ones you want. The cheap craftsman ones are just rebadged HF shit.

I have the Craftsman (non-pro line) set. I broke 4 of the tips off when doing my RLCA ball joints.

Channel Lock has some nice ones for $20. I have a $50 ratcheting snap ring pliers but they are for big ass snap rings.
I use a Matco set similar to this craftsman set: Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00950464000P?mv=rr&i_cntr=1309674809076)
The assortment of sizes is nice and if you take a close look at the pivot, its a quick release to reverse the plier from internal to external..
This set is a bit overkill for the home DIY-er, but nice to have if you have the extra funds to spare. I've done everything from snap rings in engine components to wheel bearings with this set.
The cheap craftsman ones are just rebadged HF shit.
