I've searched so but no solutions...

I have Ichiba 5 lug rear hub conversions.
I bought skyline e brake cables to use the e brakes.
For right now I have no e brakes...

The issue that I have is the anchor bolts.
The hub conversion does not have the spacing to correctly locate the anchor bolts to correctly locate the e brake shoes.

Has any one encountered this issue and if so, what is the solution.

Thanks!!!

I was thinking about machining a spacer and welding it to the anchor bolt, I'm sure that will work but some feedback would be appreciated...

you have to use z32 2+2 cables for S13... skyline cables for s14...

The cables will reach no problem. The issue that I have is the location of the shoes with the anchor bolt. The Ichiba conversion does not have the backplate that the anchor bolt locates on, this does not give the correct spacing for the e brake shoes. The anchor bolt is too low and the shoes have interference with the dust shield.

The stock hub has a plate that the anchor bolt locates on. That rises the anchor bolt about 6mm. The Ichiba hub does not have this riser so the anchor bolt sits down the 6mm. This does not let the shoes locate correctly, which interferes with the dust shield. I will try to take pictures tomorrow.

What did you do with your e brakes?

i did the 5 lug with ebrake conversion

new dust plate
2+2 cables
oe shoes
oe hadwarekit

i had to bore out the hole for the anchor bolt a lil bit but it was a painless process the whole thing is bolt on

The conversion does not have the backplate, which does not locate the shoes properly...

in that setup you can cut/weld that piece or get a correct anchor bolt to lessen your headaches...good luck

Can anyone tell me what size nut fits the anchor bolts? It looks like a fine thread m18 to me.

1992 300zx non turbo wheel bearing is what you need if you want it right. I had the same issue as you. I used the hubs from the Ichiba but ordered tje wheel bearings. Rockauto for 72 a piece. I was gonna use washers from random bolts I had at work but I just ordered the hubs.

I used 300zx 2+2 ebrake cables with an adapter plate because the spots to bolt the cables down are about 4 inches back from the bolt holes.

I also had to drill out the washers with a big stepper bit
