was wondering what the differences are, besides one has a turbo. are the heads and the block the same? what about the intake manifold and pistons.

no they are very very different. some parts are interchangeable but nothing internal that I know of.

COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. The KA is 2.4L the SR is 2.0L . Tha KA has iron block and aluminum head, the SR has aluminum block and aluminum head. The internals are not interchangable. So the heads and block are not same, the intake manifold is not same and the pistons are not the same.
