This turbo can be used on either a ka turbo project if you are so inclined or an sr20det upgrade as i have used it. This turbo enabled a best dyno of 349 whp with 305 ft lbs of trq with 555cc injectors a z32 maf, 3 inch exaust and s-afc tuning with 24psi of boost on a stock sr20det redtop engine... best time at the track with the turbo was [email protected] 118 mph with a 2.1 60 ft this turbo will put your sr into the 11s with slicks and similar tuning for sure. My run was made on street tires.
the turbo specs are to4b t3 turbocharger its a .60 ar to4b compressor housing a s-3 trim compressor wheel, only the housing is turbonetics the rest is garrett peices. Fosfate coated oil seals, 360 trust bearing center section, .48 ar exaust housing with ford 5 bolt standard housing and bolt pattern. Can be used with either external wastgate or internal gate. will include the internal gate plate for free. The exaust wheel is stage III it has been used for almost 3000k miles now and two racing events with a total of 7 drag runs made on it. It is efficent to 26psi of boost. I have boosted up to 24 on it with no problems. No discernable shaft play. Will require a top mount manifold or custom bottom mount mani for sr20det.
note: this turbo spools up very fast for a upgrade like this. I get positive 15 psi at approx 3200k rpms with the 2.0 standard sr20det engine. full 24 psi at about 4k. I recomend external wastgeate for higher boost applications over 18 psi.
It is just the turbo itself no oil lines and an internal gated plate if you need the internal gate feature. The t3 plate for a custom dp can be gotten at Cheapturbos.com if you want to block off the small port on the turbine housing to run external as i have.
reason im selling it is its time to go bigger. Need to have the car consistantly in the low 11s or high 10s or faster to be competitive in the pro am and street class drag racing events and the to4b is just not quite enough.
im selling it for 400 bucks + shipping . shipping is about 30-50 bucks depending on where you are.
