A/C Problems

Hi Im have a kouki model nissan 240sx. It has a s15 sr20det swap in it, I am trying to put a c back in it but I am having a bit problems I know forsure Im gonna have to custom make some lines which is not a big problem. I just need to know what compressor to use and what compressor bracket, or a list of things I will need. Help me please!! Thanks,

well if you have an S15 Engine, then if you wanna just bolt up the A/C components...then your gonna need an S15 Compressor and bracket......

That's true, an adaptor plate with different belt is needed. A guy on here sells them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he doesn't make one for s14/s15 SR. Could have sworn it was only for s13.

I sent you a PM on how to make it work. You'll need an SR20 tensioner bracket (the black metal one with the belt tensioner), and a KA compressor.

For those wondering,
You can use any SR20 bracket on any SR20, and you can use any KA compressor with either bracket. It is all interchangeable in the sense that so long as you know what compressor you have, and what bracket you have, it can be adapted (using my brackets) to your engine. Perfect pulley alignment, lines work just like OEM.

FWIW: My newest brackets offer the most clearence ever, and work with all sway bars and oil pans.

I make them to adapt any DOHC KA compressor on any SR20 combination (including S15 engines):D

The only engines I don't offer support for are SOHC based setups, as their compressors are funky in how they tension the belt, and how they bolt up. With that said, you can adapt all of the DOHC stuff (compressor/lines/etc etc) to a SOHC car and it will all work for you :D

Post a WTB ad in the classifieds here, and I'm sure you'll find 1 (if not more). Once you get one, make sure you verify the bracket with me so we can send you the correct kit.

As said above, you will need:
SR20 Tensioner BRacket
CodyAce adapter bracket
KA24 Compressor

That's all you'll need to make it all work and align with the pulleys
