Hi,

Pretty much I have been having problems with my idle. Every time I slow down and push the clutch in, the rpms will drop < 500 but then jump back up every now and then and finally correct itself to like 800rpm. However, I noticed recently that my oil light on my dash will come on and off as the rpms rise and fall. i checked the oil level and its totally fine. I was running my HKS SSQV atmospherically before, but today I set it up to recirculate and it still sucks at trying to find idle after revving.

But today coming off the freeway (first time taking it for a drive longer than 10 mins) I came too the off ramp, made a left, and then the car died. The dash lights came on as if I stalled and the power steering wasnt working as if the car was off.

Will "resetting" my idle fix this? Any ideas why my car died when I made that turn? Could low fuel account for that?

Thanks

Vernal

id check your iacv and the tube coming off of it. Mine was a little brittle but not cracked through yet. its supposed to vary air to the intake when there are different loads applied

i cleaned my iacv with carb cleaner and fiddled w/ the idle screw a little bit and it seems to be idling fine for now.

Thanks for the input
