Do you realize how many companies have kits that look like this? There are tons...literally. Looks close enough to me if he wanted that "look".
Oh, and I wanted to at least give him website and contact for availabilty of something he could actually buy and not have to find. MAn, you guys take things too seriously on here..I'm 31, I'd rather drive my car than sit on here and analize people and their "internet" knowledge.

hmm what does he eat for breakfast?
long walks on the beach or rides in the car?
mmm
ill be your biographer.
yah he's right.
get thenm something similar. because you wont find the EXACT kit unlesss you ask the owner. there are far too many 'similar' kits. go look in DT at the generic ads and get a 500 4 piece kit that looks the same as a big company.

whoa calm down man. i wasnt coming at you with a knife or anything.
im well aware of the amount of generic (and some not soo generic) body kits that look similar in japan. you mentioned that you were almost positive it was julius, and i was just saying that its not and its probably vertex or a vertex knockoff. answering his question is all. seems youre the one taking things too seriously, no offence.

don't some of you name brand lovers on this board who always claim that you can tell the difference between a knockoff or a real kit and how much better a real kit looks and blah blah blah? then how come no one can tell if it's a big company bodykit or a knockoff  or were they just pretending like they know a lot when they don't?

soemtimes you can tell sometimes not
because some kits in japan are DIRECT copies
some are slightly tweaked copies.
i can find a similar vertex kit in japan for 500 bucks easily in magazines, but quality and such come into play
for example, mike (vrt, djelectrique, society) has a hippo sleek knockoff kit, but it looks just like a hippo sleek kit. same goes for wide fenders, knockoff or original, unless it says or the knockoff is tweaked, you cant tell
so when people post pics either:
a) its obivious what kit is is (sticker on car)
b) the owner is on the board/someone knows the owner
c) we can guess and give a similar kit or something that is very very close to the one posted

personally i dont care bout the brand, that is hot. about the knock offs where would i be able to get one and would it be worth it and how much would it cost. i would love a kit like that or a gp sports knock off kit.

Here is a blowup of the stickers:
http://www.calidrifting.com/picsdatabase/TokyoTrip/kyosukestickers.jpg
Well Kyosuke doesn't seem to go second class on anything for the car, hence my belief that it is a real vertex kit rather than a copy. He cetainly wouldn't put a vertex sticker on if it wasn't a vertex.
i believe he is a professional racer as well (jgtc maybe..i dont recall, where's bwalker?)
If I had noticed this thread, I would have asked him since I've been in Tokyo for the last week (side note - he had to take off the wing for inspection and we went to the mountains this time for some touge, the back end was a bit more squirly than than the last time on that 400 hp beast).
Kyosuke is a kick ass driver. Currently races an altezza for autobacs(actually if you get the Japan TRD 2004 calender - he is the driver of the febuary car pic). If he gets first thru third place in his next race (11/23), he'll be racing in the GT300 class of the JGTC next year - Good luck Kyosuke!
is it me or the bumper is burned up from exhaust?
Has to do with the flames shooting out the back. lol

if bwalker is going drifting.. those are some crazy mountain climbing boots to go drifting in.
dont you know? timberland is making their own line of drifting boots. its called driftwood. They are going to be much better than those puma racing shoes.

LOL
they add like 40 HP also!
Yeah and about the whole body kit stuff, the reason why people like to stick to the high quality direct no knock-off kits is that its gauranteed quality. Not saying th knock-offs will necesarily look bad but, for me if i want to get something i want to be sure that im getting good quality for the money instead of buying some knockoff then finding out that it wont fit, then paying the shipping back and the restocking fee..........
One knock off company that is pretty good though is GTP
www.importfan.com.... they sell the real stuff also
but lets just stick to the boots
DoriftoSlut

GTP sucks. Bad quality I have seen.
Why would you need driving shoes if you are riding passenger???
Or is it when you guys roll around in the pasenger seat of your friend's zenki fastback you want to feel like you are cool too?:o
