Freshly rebuilt bb t28!!

Um, ball bearings can not be rebuilt unless they purchased a new center housing with the ball bearing assembly which usually cost just as much as purchasing new.

What exactly did they do to rebuild it? Was it a center section swap or did they tear the center section apart and put all new guts in? Can you please post a good pic of the reciept? Because it may clear some things up... Thanks

That not a T-28, that's a T-25 (which is Journal Bearing)

T28's dont use snap rings to hold on the compressor housings,
That's also a T25 oil return

Its also not a GTIR T-28 either, GTIR is constructed the same way and is a Journal Bearing Turbo as well

I didnt buy it from him he just rebuilt it, so idk why he'd lie. Is there any way to but a bb chra in a t25. Haha maybe I'm just in denial

There really shouldn't be any reason to do so simply because the t25 is small enough to have optimal spooling capabilities. Sorry for your misfortune

Sorry, i know you wanna close this thread, but Garret does make bb t25's, but i'm guessing they wouldn't fit onto s13s or something.
