Just wanting to see what else is out there, I'm posting for a possible
trade on my 1998 Nissan 240sx SE model. She's my pride and joy.. would hate
to see her go but if something catches my eye I just might do the trade.
UPDATE: PRICE NOW LOWERED TO 13,000. , MAINLY looking for trade for a 350z still.
Car Info.
VIN: jn1as44d5ww106746, clean clear blue title under my name.
MILEAGE: 106,973 on odometer when i swapped in an sr20det and it stopped
working. added around another 10k since then on chassis.
Powertrain:
-99 Corvette ls1 block, when bought approx 55k miles.
-Rebuilt with 2 sealed power pistons, sealed power full piston ring set, new rod bearings,
-felpro headgaskets, and headbolts. about 1500 miles since rebuild.
-2002 camaro ss t56 6spd tranny, updated dexron 5 filled.
-ls7 clutch kit and ls7 flywheel
-Hinson Motorsports 7/8" Willwood modified master cylinder and stainless braided clutch line
-LS6 converted
---2002 zo6 243 heads with only 100 miles when bought, sodium valves, beehive springs.
---ls6 intake, 28.8 lb injectors
-TR224 cam 581 lift
-Custom air intake with SLP mass air, k&n 4" cone
-Painless hod rod lsx standalone engine harness
-battery relocated to trunk with heavy gauge ground/power wires
-Custom long tube/boxed headers to full 3" custom y pipe, single out exhaust with bullet muffler
-Custom pro welded full solid motor mounts/tranny mount
-Shaft masters custom steel 1 piece driveshaft
-New high performance waterpump
-New belt tensioner and belt
-new harmonic balancer and bolt
-new alternator and brackets/bolts
-New both bosch o2 sensors
-Thermo tec wrapped 3.5" intake path
-Pro products Fuel Pressure Regulator with matching fuel rails.
-CX racing radiator
-2 10 inch electric fans
-Norris motorsports catch can with updated gm oem pcv valve
-Tuned by Spike, 93 octane tune approx 380-390 whp. via Hp tuners
Chassis:
-Stance Gr+ coilovers
-Godspeed adjustable Rear Upper/lower control arms, toe rods
-Battle version front tension rods
-Welded diff 4.08 stock gear ratio
-1k miles on BMW alpine white paint job
-bride vios III driver seat red on buddy club super low down rails
-prosport water temp, oil pressure blue led gauges
-sony radio, boston acoustic speakers
Wheels:
-17x9.5 MB battles 15 offset on 245/40 all around no spacers.
Cons: welded diff. speedo not working (needs Dakota digital). 3rd gear grinds with rpms,
bought as is. haven't gotten the chance to rebuild, but you can shift into 3rd when rpms fall into
the 1k range slow shifting. Rear passenger tailight is cracked, bought as is never fixed still works fine.
front turn signals moved up to headlight daytime running lights, (side of headlight for ease of
bumper removing for bad roads, yet still having turn signals/blinkers) no traction till 3rd gear :)
Not for the average driver, extremely stiff, expect some creaks/clanks from the full solid
powertrain mount setup/coilover/welded diff setup.
Pros: Good running motor, its a monster! extremely reliable with pretty much all parts still new. Only a weekend car, not daily. pulls really strong, all interior pieces in tact, sunroof and all accessories work. accident free. better then decent mpgs on highway. I work at a Chevrolet dealership, checked through tech 2 scanner showing no codes or misfires. everything working properly.
Background: Originally bought as a shell, swapped in a redtop sr20 running perfect, sold for a lsx build, since then running perfect. Nothing wrong, its my dream car but if a trade is out there I'm interested in I just may go for it. Now is your chance to make a perfect, rare 1998 kouki, your own. Again, this is a no show car. This is a raw, lsx s14. With so many body kit kouki's all over, its hard to find the stock exterior love anymore. I prefer the stock
body lines and wanted to keep it as stock on the outside as possible, yet clean. expect nothing less, nothing more. Built by a full time college student, minimum wage paid job and a lot of sacrificing.
Wont give out any personal contact information until a trade is highly considered possible, by me. I'll be checking daily, thanks for your interest.
Excuse the exhaust leak heard in the beginning, walk around vid.
