Just got my AC installed into my s14, that's running an rb25. I had to get a small custom ac condenser and had to mount it in a different position than stock, so i only have about an 1.5" of thickness I'm able to work with.
Looking for (1) 12"x12"x 1 to 1.5" thick, electric fan for the ac condenser
I've been searching google and ebay but the thinnest i can come up with is 2.5"
If you guys know of a thinner electric fan that would be legit.
Thanks

why not just put it on front on the condenser? Or is there no room there also?

1.5" is really slim. I agree with Banana, put a fan in the front if you can and wire it to push air instead of pulling.

You gotta be careful with what your getting yourself into, because the small thin fan you put in might only create a restriction.

Let me show you guys with some pictures exactly how my setup is and where the fan needs to go and how much room im limited too.
Don't mind the dirtiness. Just pulled her out of the shop :P
SO....Radiator Support needed to be cut into to fit the Radiator so it clears the pulleys from hitting my e-fans, Resulting in the stock location of the AC condenser to be moved.

AC Condenser is now mounted in between the headlight brackets and the radiator so there isn't much room there. This is a 94' Civic A/C Condenser.

And Lastly.....Here is just the amount of room i need to clear. I hope i can make everything work as this A/C has just cost me an arm and a leg.

I was able to put FAL's-Condenser-and Radiator in the stock locations without cutting the core support

The previous owner i suppose did not decide to do it that way.....Do you think there is any hope for me? Think any fans would fit there? Id love to get this thing working properly. Do you also think that the condenser is too small or should i be good?
Thanks.

Honestly, I think you're better off thinking of somewhere else to place the e-fans. I have a feeling (and I may be wrong) that even if you did find an electrical fan assembly that is 1.5" to 1.0" thick, the CFM rating will be really low.. If I am not mistaken, RB's require a strong cooling system right? If so, you'll need a beefy e-fan assembly and not some mickey mouse $h!t lol..
