Well if the guy is saying it is completely legal and he has everything for it then why wasn't this part below mentioned? I'm all for someone selling their car and not shitting on threads but if someone isn't being completely honest then I think it is fair to call them out on it. I'm glad someone who has previously owned the car can chime in. I wouldn't want to buy this then come to find out I have to go through hoops to get it smogged.

Many people on this forum needs to realize the difference between a car being registered and a car being legal. HUGE difference. I dont like posting negative comments but neither the car or the engine could possibly be legal in CA, despite any paperwork you have. The chasis is not old enough and the engine was never produced in the states (fwd non turbo sr20de doesnt count and is not the same for legal purposes).
