S14 sr20 build in michigan pic heavy

Picked up this s14 in ohio about a year back with sr20 redtop swap. Car had a completely rusted quarter panel and a decent sr20 swap. but i wanted to make it as clean as i could. so this is my attempt

this how i picked her up
-s14 w/sr20 redtop
greddy intercooler
greddy type rs BOV
and Greddy Profec Bspec 2
drivin on 12psi
t25 turbo

When i first got the block back the machine shop didnt resurface the timing cover along with the block so i had to send it back they ended up cracking it so i get a new one for free now :D ( and yes i know the coolant hard line is upside down machine shop didnt put it back in right :/)

I know I'm technically a newbie here but wouldn't it have been alot easier/same results to cut out the affected areas on the rear quarter panel and replace with new metal, rather then replace the entire thing? Great work none the less, look forward to seeing updates.
