Actually he didnt do anything to me after checking his profile and also a couple things he said I realized who he was. Some punk ass that lived around the block back in h.school.
There was a couple of people he collected money from in this forum and never sent the products. Thats why i made it public, just incase any of them see this they will react to the post and try to get their money or something.

Oh yea...I remember that guy...
if any of you paid via credit card you can get your money back easy. If you paid via paypal there is still a way you can get your money back (even if it was a bank transfer).

hmmm....thats one I have not handled before. Usually when you make a M.O. with the USPS you get a recipt and slip ticket (part of the M.O.) that you keep just incase the M.O. happens to get "stolen" or "lost". However making those claims would have to be further explained by the USPS. I don't know if they have a certain duration of time before a claim cannot be made. :-/

M.O. is not safe!
I ordered a Canon digicam a while back and the guy just took my USPS money order and didn't send the item. I had all documentation and called the post office and spoke to the postmaster, but they said they couldn't do anything about it. They told me to contact the local authorities in the seller's area.
Even though the guy lived in Canada, I don't think a M.O. is safe anywhere. Luckily, I had a few maxima.org members contact him and find out his info. I then called him repeatedly and eventually he refunded my money. lets just say i was very lucky.

Just FYI, as far as I know, Adam at afterdark is now in jail. A friend of mine lives in Iowa and knew Adam and apparently he had taken payment for two skylines and then blew the money. All the cars in the lot at the shop had been either returned to the owners or impounded and legal actions are in progress against AfterDark.

I don't know if everyone knows. Anything posted about him on NICO is pretty much erased or locked. I think he was only arrested about a week and a half ago, so this is a quite recent development.
I am so glad I backed out of my deal with him and went with the ruler f all: Phase 2 Motortrend :bigok:
