woot. these wheels are PIMP

i saw some more pics of them (different from jspec site)....the face is sunk below the lip! its not as sunk as something as a TE37 or LMGT4 but there arent many wheels that are available stateside like such!

sizes and offsets are excellent! pricing is outrageously cheap!

clearance..top notch! oooh im getting a pair of 18x9.5 +12 for sure! hahaha
pull rear fenders about 10-15mm or so. camber..stretched tires. ill make it fit hehe..

so pimp!

http://www.jspec.com/185zigenfno1rc.html

i just wanted to say that. they are a great wheel for the cost. looks..meh. but clearance w/ brakes and suspension is amazing. and the cost is so good for what it is. yeah its played out and common but for good reason.

I was at GT Pro last nite and saw these new wheels in person too. The face is all sunken in and looks pretty cool. It was 18x91/2 high 40's offset on a big ol 3000 GT

whats pricing on the 18s looking like?

I think it will look great with the wide fenders. Trying to fit that in a regular fender would be kind of clownish though.

of cousre performance is another story

dousan, you got an eye for fragile wheels and expensive tires.

unless those wheels can withstand being launched on harsh LA roads, i dont care much for them.

nodoubt, they are nice.. i just prefer some more insulation between my old_s13 and the road, rubberband tires dont live up to my driving style -- i dont drive on glass. :)

yah probably not good
for me, just streets (summer) and track (competition) with SR
haha

yeah. hehe..i do have that eye. i dont want to cry over slamming a nice (expensive) wheel into a curb trying to park or goofing around. heh..

you do know that the Hyper Black wheels are NOT black right?...just checking since you said you wanted to go "all black on your car"...

they are polished and shiny..definately NOT black..

youd think that hyper black would be black...weird. I thought hyper black was just a shiny black... I guess il get the matt black rims. 17 is more than enough rim for me.

most wheels can withstand LA roads as long as you pay attention and try to avoid large pot holes. Then again maybe mr.clearcorners likes his car real plain.

Will, you cant even avoid pissing on the toilet seat when you go to the bathroom, how the fuck are you going to avoid each and every imperfection in the road.

You make it seem as if potholes have nice NEON lit signs that say "hey, look here, pothole!" What about ripples in the road that are so bad, they jar your fillings out? Go for a drive in downtown or in Hollywood, we'll see how quickly your car turns into nuts and bolts. Your exhaust hangs so low it will definately get smashed up on some of the roads I drive on.

AND, I dont do that bullshit .0005mph go at an angle when going over a speed bump bullshit. I drive my car and like to trash it. Even the NSX I drove didnt need all this excessive tender-treatment, and thats an NSX. I think we reach a point where we start thinking no suspension travel is COOL.

easy to immagine, since i live in torrance, where artesia blvd and western blvd have huge pot holes. Where dips and bumps are the norm on torrance blvd, and even the local 110n to 105e interchange has a huge rimbend pot hole. All it takes is being careful, trust me unlike you i have rolled on low profile rubber for the last oh 7-8 years. Plus with wheel repair being so inexpensive minor bends arent even a big deal. Also really theres no need to go and make childish insults...i mean your products maybe mickey mouse but u really dont need to act the same.

Back to the rim, it looks nice cept im not sure i'd want a 18' cast wheel.

The 18s are awesome, but they should have went with a 18" FNO1R instead of the cast.

Will, quit talking smack goober.. you used to run 18x7 with 205/30/18 wrapped with NITTO NT450's.. the ultimate "typical FWD honda driver setup." For LA terrain, I think the two sets of 16x8 wheels suit me just fine. and for an S13, 245/45 Bridgestone RE730's just ROCK.

Plus with wheel repair being so inexpensive minor bends arent even a big deal.

Once a rim is bent, its bent.. if you want to roll on repaired rims, go ahead. I dont resurface warped rotors, I dont do 100+mph on repaired wheels.

yeah, tell me about it! :)

17x8 +30 17x9 +38 I guess u might need glasses... With =235/40ZR17/ 255/40ZR17 Yokohama AVS intermediates or ES100. Sorry i dont take wheels off the wrong kind of car with the wrong offset (rx-7). i've used these wheels for almost 2 yrs w/o a hitch.

i guess your behind in the times kinda like your homedepot grade techniques and materials, and havent noticed that wheel repair technology has come a long way. Go give tru-wheel some grief in north hollywood since thats where i send my friends and have heard no complaints.

sykikchimp....already stated in this thread, it has NOTHING to do with performance, only bling. :) if it was road race/grip, 16s, 17s MAX but i'd much prefer 16s.

this is soley for bling purposes!

I knows ALL about the bling! :coolugh: I'll be puttin' my bling wheels back on the car real soon. Big wheels are great for the winter! Robs power, so I don't spin like a crazy hooligan in the ice/snow and shit when I drive around.. HAHA.

...My car needs more bling.. :wtc:

I should start a "Bling for the Chimp" fund...
