Ok, i wanted to make this thread for anyone new to lower their cars and for those who cant afford coilovers.
Heres the diagnosis on all three types of lowering techniques:
cut springs are good and bad. They DO infact lower your car, but may not last long as using lowering springs or full coilovers. You may have excessive bouncing of the suspension and camber wear if not done right.
lowering springs are 50/50 if using stock suspension. If lowering on stock suspension they give you the drop you want but will still blow out your suspension within a year or 2 depending on where you live. If using anything from tokicos to kybs, you have a better chance of have a good stance without having to worry about having any issues.
Coilovers are the best suspension quality out there. Expensive but worth every penny. Not many can afford them, but they do alot better than cutting your springs or wuth lowering springs. Theres many types of coilovers that you can get.Theres track, street, pro, etc.(could be wrong). It all depends on what your planning to do,drift, street, drag. It all helps depending on the setup.
If you want more info ask around what people have on their cars.
