smog/emissions in arizona?

My pops just moved to tolleson az, and been thinking if i could transfer my car registration to there.. How strict is emissions testing over there?

dude az really dont give a shit about emissions, the main spots where they'll try something is Phx but i dont live there and havnt heard about emissions problems there.
