Hi everyone I need help figuring out what's going on with my clutch. Only had the s14 Sr swap in the car for a month and now when I get on the gas all its doing is reviving like the clutch is slipping. I can shift into gears with no problems. Another thing is it did the same thing when I had my ka and I was told it was the clutch so when I did the Sr swap it didn't do it no more until the other day. And also what I notice today was when I was in first gear I slowly let off the clutch with no gas the car was still idling isn't the car suppose to stall. Any help will be great thanks

You should probably replace the clutch, its slipping like crazy! replace it before It leaves u stranded somewhere. The clutch can get hot and shread apart if u keep doing that for a period of time. The clutch is shot and its time for a new one =) p.s i would reccomend a act 6 puck sprung clutch kit!

if u were not moving and letting off the pedal it should definitely stall. Is there a change in rpm? Do u move at all at that point?

Sounds like its not engaging all the way , or your disk is in fact worn down too much and its really slipping , same thing happened to my car changed out the disk and all was well. Either that or you need to adjust the clutch pedal screw to apply more pressure onto the clutch it self. If you check under the dash on the pedal you will see a 12mm nut that can be adjusted back and forth , you might want to adjust that , and also re bleed the system just to make sure there are no air bubbles trapped anywhere. Before you go to changing out the disk , cause that's a lot of work.

the same thing happened to me i would push the clutch pedal all the way to the floor and my car would still drive so i adjusted the clutch pedal and it works jus fine now

thanks for all the replys took the car to the shop and had the clutch slave replaced and that them removed the clutch dampener and was told the bad news the clutch is gone. and now after doing all that stuff today it made the car slip even more. so the new clutch is on order and should be here on friday.
