i went ahead and ordered a set of these in chromium black and i am currently waiting for them to ship! the only thing im worried about is how they will look once they are on the car. no i dont want the "hellaflush" look with the rim 30mm out of the fender with -15 degrees of camber to have the insanely stretched tires to clear the fender... but what i do want is for them to be basically even with the fenders, or a little more which would be nice. since i have not been able to find this size and offset on a s13 im starting to worry about how they will look... :bite:
since i am a noob to the rim fitment world i NEED some ideas of how they will fit and if i should run spacers to acheive the look i want, ect... any advice will be greatly apressiated! let me know if there is a magical formula that i can use to calculate this or what not because like ive said i cant find anything with these rims in this size and offset... only 17x9.75 +25 :wtf:
i ordered 17x8.25 +25....durrrrr... should have gotten the +35 i think... and i like the look of the 17x9.75 +25. so the difference in the width is 1.5", which means about .75" on each side of the rim? (i could be mistaken but hey, that what you guys are for :newbie:) this converts to about 20mm on each side so does that mean i should go with a 20mm spacer to have the same look as the 9.75" rim (i know i didnt take the offset into account)? (i know this might sound noob as fuck, but hey im only 17 and i dont want to be like the other ill-informed children out there...)
i am new to the comunity of wheel spacing and i have spent countless hours trying to figure out how it will look but i simply cant find it for these wheels. i know there are threads with this information but it is dificult to translate the information from one size and offset of rim to another....
and yes these rims are cheap as fuck, thats why i got them (they will be replaced eventually) :fawk: so lets not bring that topic into this discussion please
anyways, here is a set of the 17x9.75 +25, the same color wheel and color of my hatch. (he said the front has 5mm spacers to clear the coils)
