A little summary-

Up for sale is my 2003 350Z Enthusiast trim (LSD, TCS, cruise, side airbags, etc). This is an adult owned car, and has never seen a track or any kind of racing. This car is only brought out for shows, and is never driven in rain/winter/etc. I am the 3rd owner, with the 2nd owner being a good friend of mine. This is my 4th Z, and by far the best one I have ever owned. I have never lost interest in this car, but between my motorcycle, my Titan, and my Hyundai that I commute with, it is not being used as much as I would really like. I actually came out to a dead battery a couple weeks ago since I hadn't driven the car in quite a while and did not have it on a trickle charger. The upside is that the new owner will have a brand new battery with 11 year free-replacement warranty. I am planning to move closer to work soon, and entertaining the idea of selling before then if the right buyer comes along.

This is the absolute most well-built and reliable forced-induction Z that anybody can own. The only goal with this car was reliability, even though it is not used for commuting. I did an endless amount of research on different types of forced induction for these cars, and wanted something that I would never have to worry about the engine blowing up, the car breaking down, overheating, etc. You will not find a more complete, better built, or more reliable forced-induction Z in the country. I encourage any interested people to come check out the car, and will give a ride to people who seem serious. However, since the car is what it is, I will only allow test drives with a cash deposit. That is my way of knowing that the person is seriously interested in purchasing the car, and not just looking for a joy ride and risk putting the car into a tree. The car has been appraised by my insurance company at $40,000. This is the approximate replacement cost at its current mileage (not including newer engine), with all of the aftermarket parts on the car, and not including any labor or tuning. I will start this listing at $25,000 and am willing to discuss price only with serious buyers either in person or by phone if they are not local. I will not entertain any trades, so please do not ask. I own and sell quality cars that are well cared for, nothing less. The last Z that I sold was over a year ago to somebody on My350Z who flew up from Florida to New Jersey, and is still extremely pleased with the purchase. The car has never been in any kind of accident, and has all original body panels (besides Nismo front bumper).

The car was tuned by R/T Tuning in Lansdale, PA and is currently making 392whp and 333wtq. The car was originally tuned to over 400whp, but was de-tuned a bit to stay in line with the goal of maximum reliability and long-term durability. This engine and setup proved to be extremely healthy, as this was all done with the standard 3.33 pulley that is supplied with the Vortech package. It is currently making more power than most setups running higher boost via a pulley upgrade, thanks to efficiency of the tune and cam choice. The car itself has over 120k miles, but almost every single part of the car has been changed or upgraded, including a full body re-spray in May 2010 to cover any small scratches or rock chips, since the car was mainly to be used for show. A new OEM steering wheel and shift knob were also added to the interior since the old ones were showing their age. The car has never had body work of any sort, and has a squeaky clean Carfax and Autocheck report. I encourage any serious buyers to bring along their mechanic/auto body friends to check out the car from top to bottom before handing over a dime. I stand behind any work done to the car, and would not hesitate to recommend it as a daily driver or primary car if the buyer wants it for that reason. I will not sell parts individually, so please do not ask. I have some of the original equipment, but not most of it. No stock wheels, lights, exhaust, brakes, etc. In my humble opinion, this car is perfect all-around and there is no other Z that I would replace it with, especially for this amount of money. The car is 50 state legal as well, and has all required emissions equipment.

I appreciate all the messages from people wanting to purchase certain parts separately, but like I said in the original post, I do not have many of the factory parts as I was never planning on returning back to stock for any reason. I would like to sell as it sits. The car needs absolutely nothing, drive away and not have to worry about anything, its a good feeling. The car was shop-built so I'm not willing to start messing with things. Whoever gets this car will own one of the nicest and well-built Z's in the country.

The Version 2 bumper does not come with canards, they are add-ons. The addition of the bumper was for cosmetic reasons, so I went with the cleaner look. From what I hear, the job of the canards are for added down-force if you track the car.

If someone is truly interested, they are more than welcome to contact me and talk about price. The car has over $50,000 invested including price of the car, new motor, and labor. It had an insurance appraisal this past spring of $40,000 which according to them would buy me a replacement 2003 350Z with the same odometer mileage, plus all aftermarket items at pre-owned values. (I had to provide them a list similar to the one above prior to the in-person appraisal) This is not including the new engine, paintwork or any labor/tuning fees (which cost more than buying a whole other car alone). Would I ask $40k for it? Of course not.

Also, let me make it clear that the old engine did not blow or have catastrophic failure, it was replace way before any modifications to the car since it started burning a little oil (about 1 quart per change).

So like I said, if someone is truly interested in the car and has done their homework, we can discuss price. If that person is you, feel free to PM me and tell me what you yourself are prepared to pay, and justify your price. I'm here to be fair, not sucker anybody. If not, best of luck with the sale of your 300ZX. I had a handful of them back in the day and they are great cars.

More offers for parts, but really looking for an offer on the car as it sits. I understand that I can make a lot more parting it out, but the reason for the sale isn't about money in the first place. Really hoping it goes to somebody who can respect the power as well, i.e probably not a good first car for your teen.

Great car you have there, but I really am not looking for a trade. Nothing against anybody's cars on here who have offered a trade, but as cheesy as it sounds, there is really no other car I would rather own than this. To be honest, my plan for selling this car is to surprise my wife with a new car for our anniversary. :)

If anyone has a serious real offer, feel free to message me. As long as any perspective buyers know what a fair price is and offer something close to it, we should have no problem making a deal.

You can't add the price for your car when bought in your tally. my car was 40k when it was new with 35k invested. I'm not saying it had 75k into it. Im saying you should lower your price a bit. There's much nicer Z's out there with 30k original miles that make 360whp for 18k. I've done my research and owned a Z33 myself i know there issues and prices. You have a nice car and ive owned vortech'd cars as well, v8's that is. Sorry for bashing your thread just though that price was way too high.

^I wish he said "I can't post, because I'm not interested in buying".

You are not sorry for bashing his thread, and just want to sound smart. One of the rules of bartering is not to barter if you are not interested. I'm sure if nobody buys his car, he will lower the price, or keep it. Its not up to you to tell him what he needs to do. Read the last editorial in Modified Magazine...

Smoky Nagata sold a supra to an Arab Prince for a few hundred percent more then what its worth, kickstarting Top Secret to what it is today. All he needs to do is find that one buyer that really likes his car.

Anyways, Nice Z33 none the less.

Walperstyle,

LMK if you want a fully built Z32. with 25k miles 608whp

I think this shows that he IS trying to 'barter' and talk him down to accept the trade.

BTW I love Z'z (lol). I wish I could have 1 of every gen. They're so badass.

OP good luck with your sale. bump.

Not sure where you're getting that from, but I never factored in how much the car cost originally. The insurance appraisal I received is based on the current book value of the car if nothing was done to it (about $9-10k), plus the replacement cost of all aftermarket items less depreciation (about $30k), and not including the new motor, respray, labor, tuning, etc (I haven't counted any of that into the value anyway, just merely stating it).

I'm not sure where you are seeing "much nicer Z's out there for 18k". The only one I've seen comparable for sale would be one here posted by "POMFX", which may be the one you're referring to. That is a nice ride, and I personally think worth at least if not more than his asking price. "Nicer" is hugely subjective, I'm guessing because you like black cars more? With that said, I don't think there is any argument that mine has a bit more extensive level of modification, and greatly reinforces a number closer to my asking price. Like I said when the original ad was made, I'm really not interested in any trades. If you want to make an offer on the car, please feel free to. If not, how can you say it is overpriced when you have not made an offer?

Thanks, but I fully expect that to happen when listing a car for sale. When you have one price and somebody wants it for less, they'll go to great depths to try to rationalize their price/trade/etc. Nobody has the right to say that anything is "overpriced" until they are a serious buyer who makes a serious offer and has it rejected. Any asking price is just that, not an expected selling price. Just because I say "asking $25k", it isn't meant to deter anybody from making an offer, unless they're just throwing around numbers and have no real intention of buying. I could ask $100,000 for it, and it doesn't mean a thing. If somebody is a serious buyer and knows what its worth, they'll make an offer based on that. Its my way of weeding out lazy people. ;)
