ok, heres what happen... out of no where my 240 started to lose power... so when i pulled over all the coolant blew out... and i found the hose that blew.. but then after that i fixed the hoses and now... when i try to drive it, it only goes up to 3k rpm in first gear... and when i try to shift gears it will stumble then die out... but it starts up fine...? any ideas guys... its been sitting in the garage for a while dont know what to do... mechanic told me it went into safety mode... and also i checked the engine light... and it threw a o2 sensor code and a exhaust temp wire code... and also my car doesnt have a o2 sensor... it fell off... do you think thats whats causing it.?:wtf:

You need to Reset the ECU, dissconnect the battery for a hour or so, or you can harsh reset by taping positive and negative battery terminals together (dont hurt yourself)

I would say SOFTLY reset the ecu and double check wiring/vac lines and mafs. What do you currently have in place of no o2 sensor?

Mine did something similar and I found it one of my injectors went bad. Unplug them one at a time while the car is running , if the car dies down a little then you know they are good if there is no change when you unplug one then you know you need a new injector. I went through everything before I found that out. Just a thought wouldn't hurt to try
