Review: Honesly, I am a bit disappointed, but its my own damn fault. I didnt fully research 4-Point harnesses prior to my purchase. If I did, I would have waited and saved a few more bucks for the 5-Point. I've gotten use to the harness, making several trips this morning. The lower lap belt will raise during impact unless adjsuted properly. Now understand I have a 30" waist so theres not much of a gut for the belt to rest under, but the 5th point would have deffinitly held the lapbelt in place. After re-adjusting the belts three to four times I have gotten the lap belt to only raise 1"~2" when I lean forward which is borderlince acceptable.

Rating - 3/5
Suggestions: Save and get the 5-Point. Sure it will add a few seconds on the entry and exit of your car, but when your talking about saftey I really dont give a god damn.

1) Sit properly (dont lean far back).
2) Adjust the waist belt tight.
3) Last, adjust the vertical belts.

Also, make sure your belt fastens to the original bolt locations. I did this with my Schroth harnesses and I have 0 problems. Although, I paid about 300 for my 2 harnesses.. so maybe you get what you pay for.

Same here! I have the Schroth 3-pt rallye harness and I have absolutely no problems with it. However, I don't use it when daily driving. Only on auto-x Events. :)

I guess you don't love your life as much...

I'd rather smash the noirds than submarine under the belt and get fucked up.

You can always go with a six point.

I only do drifting as racing goes, so i dout ill be hurting myself to sacrifice my ballz at 30mph, for ppl who do auto cross or highspeed racing get 5 point and wear a cup

heres my question.

i also have a four point harness, but i had a problem bolting it up. I used the origonal bolts where my seat is, but where did you hook up the vertical straps at? I had them hooked up to the rear seat belt bolts, but it just didnt seem right. any suggestions? I dont mind drilling and installing that way, but i was curious if there was an easier and more suitable way.

thanks
mike

I has them bolted in the same spot you do, and it is off. Just tao two new holes in the floor boards, reinforce them (many options) and your on.

I have my seat set as far forward and up as possible, its holding a bit better as I have gotten use to it. Mr.Meph said it right, I updated my review in the review section.

I choose saftey over sex/reproduction/short term pain anyday.

I WILL be getting five points, no doubt about it. Just for saftey's sake.
