i have access to a totaled sc300 that has a good motor. as you my know they came with a n/a 2jz. i'll really thinking and wanted your .02. if it' too much of a hassle than i'll stick with the ka-t:)

n/a 2jz into a 240? well, you can build the motor and turbo it i guess.

i like 2jz for a few reasons. first, its a 6cylinder. there is a limit to how much power you can make from a 4 cylinder and its reliability. 6 cylinder, you can make at least 600hp w/o many problems with longetivity.

i also like 2jz on usdm cars because the intake manifold is on the left side of the motor where the steering column is. this gives you a lot of room on the other side to slap on a big turbo and custom fab a nice manifold w/o worrying much about clearance.

also, 2jz have a lot of aftermarket support from the supra crowd. many supras are making 600-1200+hp. the only problem is dropping in the motor. i think you have to get different oil pans from a 2jz from an jdm aristo or something to clear the front cross memeber. you also have to find a way to wire up the speed sensor b/c its mechanical or something compared to nissans electrical?! i dunno. there was a huge thread discussing 2jzs into 240s in fa. go look for it, it'll give you ideas. but ive always wanted a 2jz.
