has anyone used shopline base before? im about to buy a shopline base, paint code a4a, which is probably one of the brightest reds you'll see, its mazda 3 red. i want this to turn out really well, will this paint do the job?

Yea I've used it on my car. It's just old school PPG, but I used the shopline clearcoat also. I'd recommend Shoplind to anyone who's not trying to spend a grand on material for a paint job.

Ill recommend Omni to you if you want some level of quality at a low cost.
It is also ppg...

yup! just spent $850 on 2k primer, white sealer, 1 gal of shopline base, and a really good PPG clear, time to spray!!

I have to agree with options13 about using a cheaper base with a better clear. But I would never ever buy Omni again! That shit fades after a couple of years trust me. Even the Omni clear has a yellow tint to it, where the shopline is clear like water. If I were you I'd just stick with shopline.
