I've seen people run them before, you should be alright.

If you want something that's in a similar price range, but has the backing of a reputable company, hit up Enjuku for an Isis radiator.

CXracing radiator is pretty decent for the money. dont expect it to keep a big motor'd car too cool though.

Can anyone confirm that all the knockoff performance radiators aren't made by the same company?

Personally used cx racing...worked fine for me. No complaints at all.

But I agree...flex-a-lite fans will do the job alone lol

i love the flex-a-lite fan fanboys. The stock clutch fan with the shroud will flow more air than your electric fans and wont hurt horsepower or torque enough to matter). Electric fans are a fad unless you need the space, pain and simple.

As for the op, ichiba hubs suck and are made with poor quality, im sure they dont change their standards for their radiators. The CXRacing probably isnt much better, and its .0787" wider. Not enough to make a difference which means the rows are narrow and dont promote a very smooth flow/heat dissapation. For a little more you can pick up a mishimoto (off of ebay brand new as well) and be able to run what ever motor you want with it. Ive personally had an LS, rb, and high power ka on mine and never had an issue with cooling (yes the rb and ls had electric fans for clearance).

But this all depends on what your doing with the car. If its going to see the track adn its stock, then get something worth buying. But if its your daily, buy what ever cause your not pushing it to its limits.

There have been countless discussions on this, quality e fan>stock fan>crappy e fan any day of the week. Sure the stock unit may flow 'the' most, but it's only at a specific RPM...whereas the E fans flow a huge amount (often times almost equalling stock fan output) all of the time.

As with anything, if you know what you're doing, E fan is the way to go. Makes working on the car a sinch.

My roomate ran his mishimoto for years, no issue. We came across a Koyo in a car we parted out and did swap them out. We'll certainly report back with any major difference, but I doubt we'll see any...I guess we changed it for 'ricer' reasons ;)

CX worked fine for me.

CX stuff is actually quite good for the cost!

Mishimoto, Godspeed, CX racing, ISIS, and other ebay brands are all the same manufacture. some have different designs but same overseas manufacture.

I have a no-name "ebay" radiator in my SR S14 and have used it for over a year now. I haven't had any issues with it, I had a Koyo before the swap. My buddy is using a Mishimoto and another is using a CXracing. I personally think all the smaller name (ISIS, Megan, Mishimoto, CXracing, Forged, etc) companies are manufactured from the exact same place and are the same... I do however feel better when people ask "what radiator do you have?" and I can respond with "Koyo." Rather than "idk some ebay one"....

I got the CX-Racing cooling kit. $130 off ebay. Came with hoses and a 20" fan. Has served me well for 2 years. Just don't expect it to work as well as any of the top brands though. But it is an upgrade from OEM.

+1 on the fans!

I run a Mishimoto with dual Altima fans. Its a pretty clean set up and the fans work really well.
