Egr problem, Engine idle @ 750RPM, No EGR code, but engine gave a shake when the car is picking up speed. Engine runs smooth after 2000 RPM. The thing is that if i disconnect between the EGR and BPT valve the engine does not shake. BPT valve was replace.
now what can be the problem???

shake being a misfire? disconnecting a vacuum hose?

vacuum hose, or misfire. pull plug wires one by one and see how the engine reacts.. delete egr valve

Have you pull the egr to see if it full of carbon? The egr might be stuck

don't seemed like a missed fire. the disconnected hose is between the EGR and BPT valve. I talk to a mechanic and he said that too much air was going to the EGR from the BPT. that is why when the hose was disconnected, the engine does not shake. He said it was the BPT but replaced new one and still the same problem.

needed to pass smog.

Yea i can try that, but so little space between.

also EGR solenoid respond when apply 12v. got a ohm of around 50k.

just check and PRESSURE regulator control solenoid valve, was not giving me any reading (ohm). could this be my problem???

You need to see if there is vacuum to the egr first when you rev the engine, if there is then apply vacuum to egr and see if it stalls the engine. If it does then the egr is good, if there is no vacuum to the egr then trace the vacuum lines back until you find vacuum if it goes into the solenoid but doesn't come out the solenoid is bad or the computer isn't controlling it to open

check egr with vacuum pump, looks good, pressure holds. also it stalls the engine when running. solenoid works with air passing through, w/wo battery on. AB and AC. but not getting clicking sound. just one click.
might be the egr solenoid valve. also the pressure regulator solenoid.

egr might be not closing all the way. should be able to check the solenoid valve with resistance tests compared with the fsm

I would check resistance also, i dont think it should be allowing air to pass through at all times, sounds like a bad soleniod to me. I would still do a resistance check to confirm though.

check no voltage to pressure solenoid valve.
check wire 106 - purple wire ok.
not sure where the brown wire goes???
