Turbos have a 1 year limited warranty. There is an ISIS turbo that has been running on a car for over 3 years now with no issues!!!

I have warrantied more Garrett Turbos than any other brand out there! :o)

It will bolt directly on. It will make a little more power than a stock T25, so i would not reccomend going over about 12psi if you are completely stock, just to be safe.

You should just save a little more and go with the isis 3871r. That's what i run on my KA-T deal and it's pretty much awesome.

I know it's adjustable. I was wondering what psi they are adjusted to right out of the box. I don't have a boost gauge because I've been running a bone stock SR swap at the factory 7 psi. My question is: if I install the turbo right out of the box without changing the adjuster on the wastegate, how many pounds of boost should I expect or is it random?

Hey all, Just wanted to give a review. I installed one of these on my roomates car. after 2000 miles it is still running strong. In my experiance, If a turbo is to fail it will do so within 300 miles.

To make sure YOU dont mess it up You need to prime the turbo, and make sure there is no kinks in the drain line.

Bottom line. If the turbo goes out on my KA-t setup, i would not hesitate to buy an isis turbo. Might try out the 3871 or whatever it is called. With the setup for this turbo, It does good for a stock engine, and really does well with some mods. The .82 exhaust housing (which is bigger than the stock .64) flows awesome on top end.

No, i dont work for isis, or enjuku.. Just giving a review from FIRST HAD EXPERENCE everybody can use.

Update: 4/12/12 Turbo is still going strong 3000+ miles! If the turbo were going to crap out, it would have happend by now..

It is just the inlet and outlet are designed for an S13. You can put it on an S14 if you have S13 inlet and outlet tubes, or if you want to make something.

Honestly, the setup doesn't really matter. Mainly the PSI. Stock T25's do not breathe past 220 at the wheels.. They pretty much stop making all power there.. the fact that is is making 270 at the wheels and not hitting a brick wall is more than enough for me..

In for more info on this t25/t28 replacement as well. I have been running this turbo on my KA-T for around 8 months now, and about 4-5k miles. Spools fast, no smoking, pulls pretty hard. I have a boost leak or 2 (or 5) and a few exhaust leaks I'm sure, but this thing still spools pretty good and on my KA it's breaking loose the stock tires in 2nd when I hit peak torque. Have yet to dyno it though.. I have been running it from about 9-11 psi regularly with an adjustable actuator, however the stock actuator was set at like 14 psi and I couldnt lower it..This was partly because the turbo wouldn't fit my SSAC ka-t manifold so I had to clock it just a little, but this put the wastegate arm at somewhat of an angle, causing it to open a little later, but the fact remains that the spring is pretty stiff right away, I don't think you could get the wastegate they gave me to move under 10 psi.

I'm on the stock KA clutch at the moment and have developed some serious slippage, but I ordered a new comp clutch white bunny kit today. Once that arrives, I'll be trying turning up the boost to 13-14 psi. I still don't know much about this turbo though, and would like to get more specs on it.

I dont run coolant lines on my KA-t.. Just run a turbo timer. coolant lines are only for cooling after the engine shuts off..

But people do run coolant lines. Some run them from the throttle body pre-heat linews.

Yea I have seen that the only good write up I've seen, but I've seen people use the Goodyear heater hose and I feel like that would melt, and the cost to make custom an lines from the tb to the turbo will prolly cost more than the turbo. But I bought the Isis 3871 cause I thought it was just oil cooled, but like you said I may just run it w/o coolant lines hooked up

As long as their oil feed line is a 3an and NOT a 4an. Then yes you should be able to use their turbo lines. No, you do not want to run a restrictor on this turbo.

No, it is identical to a Garrett 5 bolt flange/S14/S15 outlet flange

Sorry, we should have been more descriptive, our apologies. The o2 extension didn't mount up as the t25/t28 uses a t28 back housing. You cannot simply use an sr20det elbow as the 3 bolt flange is clocked differently. You can, however, use your ca18det elbow and drill out one of the bolt holes to fit accordingly. As for the turbo lines, they will have to be custom made. We can make these here for you if you are interested. Just one more thing also, the turbo must be clocked in order to fit properly.

The price listed on this post is outdated. This thread was started back in 2011 and since then, the price for these turbos has risen. Currently, ISIS replacement turbos are selling for $359.99, marked down from $400.00.

ISIS performance has recently made remarkable improvements on the quality of their turbos. Every single turbo is pulled apart, inspected, re-balanced (if needed) and serial numbered.
