I'm going to buy some KYB AGX shocks and some Eibach Pro-kit springs, and there's the option of getting the KYB's in adjustable or non-adjustable. I'm just going to use my 240 as a daily driver, and it's not really going to see much track time or any auto-x time either, i just want to lower my car a bit and give it an aggressive stance, is it worth it to save up and get the adjustables? or are the non-adjustables fine for my situation?

the non-adjustables are not AGX, they're the GR-2's, and those are meant to be an OEM replacment. If you want a ride to match your pro-kits, as well as be upgradable later, I'd go with the AGX, as I recall, the price difference is only like about $30 or so, depending on where u go.
Cliff Notes:
- AGX good!

I just got the eibach prokit and kyb agx adjustables installed last weekend. I couldn't be happier. Wheel gap is gone, and it's fun adjusting the shocks to how you feel like driving. I'm curious, what setting do you guys have your agx's set to? At the moment I have mine set to 2/5.

Ive got AGXs on my 97 240. They work great for daily driving. I set it at F-2 R-8, but id go with 6 in the back for DD. I dont know the price difference but if its only 30$ id say go with the adjustables.

yeah, with the adjustables, you can have OEM replacement and a more firm ride. F-1 R-2 for a stock feel, lol.

the AGXs are over twice as much on tire rack. $170 vs $420, still worth it though, at least for me. how stiff are the GR-2s compared to the AGXs? if they are reasonably stiff, they would probably be fine for a non raced daily driver.
oh, and 2F 4R. i tried 4/8 and the car skipped and bounced everywhere, damn bumpy toledo roads.

front 3
rear 2.. i like the way it squats and still keeps traction most of the time, and the roads around here aren't that great so its soft enough to be bearable!
i used to have it set on 4-5 and the bumps were just too rough for everyday use when i didn't really need a stiff suspension. and on higher settings the rear end would constantly want to come out during turns.

I always have mine set to f-2 r-4, for daily drive AND autoX it seems to work the best especially in teh cold i dont push through tight turns as much.. i tried it all the way up and it didnt handle the way i liked it.. on this setting its SO easy to control the car from left to right. and so on

i've bought the blues for my crx, the illuminas for the g2 teg, and the agx for the 240 from coximports.com no better place for shocks. i ride 4f 8r on my agx and they aren't stiff enough at ALL. i'm gonna start piecing for some nice coilovers in the next 2 years i'd imagine. very dissappointed in the ride stiffness of eibachs and agx.

got that right and if they went to 8/16 I'd probably go with that
I'm using Sprint Springs. The ride is stiff. Not as bad as it used to be, considering I've had the setup since December of 1999.
