Most ghetto mods on your car...

I was wondering if anybody had some real ghetto mods on their car and don't mind sharing. Until i have enough money for apexi n1 duals i have Thrush cat-back (better than having a broke ass stock exhaust IMO). But yeah does anybody have like do-it-yourself body kits or some fake powdercoat wheels or something.

I know there has got to be some people that aren't too proud to say they have a few ghetto mods.:p

i have no fenders or bumper krunked up lights-looks like short circet- for light weight (hit a wall climbing a mountain)

enki meshies spraypainted fake anodized violet

had lifted hood with spacers

izuzu truck shift knob -little ball-

missmached steelis

candy coted tail lights

painted valve cover to match wheels

2 old 240s that were striped and dented with other ghetto mods

umm...Black S14 Zenki Bumper hacksawed to fit and zip tied onto an S13 silvia JDM front end with Green Wide Body Fenders..dark blue hood, red trunk, and a big fat PANDA on the side of it..not really mods..but OH MY GHETTO..lol..

my body panels use more zip ties then bolts..:D

whoa that is pretty ghetto hehe. i got a question though. whats the deal w/ the lifted hood thing?? ive heard about it a few times now and i have no idea of what the reason for it is.

It doesn't do anything. Its supposed to be to cool the engine bay but anyone who understands aerodynamics sees why it doesn't work.

Moral of the story: don't do it, its a waste of your time.

HomeDepot Air Duct (5$) + Vaccum cleaner hoses I found in my dumpster + Duct tape + Zip ties + Spray paint (whilest in the bumper) = one ghetto ass fresh air rig.

Foam core + ghetto imagination = Cup holder
Foam core + ghetto imagination + duct tape = radiator block off plate (this will soon be made out of sheet metal once I find out if I can cut sheet in the laser cutter at school)

duct tape around intake right before the throttle body

the battery in my celica caught fire and burnt the hood, so you can see it at work.

burnt hood + slow day at work + blue paint that semi matches hood = spray painted burn spot.

with the green and red steelies, it's like christmas every time i see my car. haha now all i need is some white somewhere and i got all the christmas colors! any idea on where i can put some white?

as for the lifted hood i have noteiced a secrease in temp. and when the car is sitting it helps leet heat out...
i dont really dont care if it works , i like how it looks IMHO.

Haha... the car is greenish blurple. if i had money your idea whould be fun. :D
