ok i was wondering if i could move my z32 MAF into the intake piping so that way i could just put a air filter straight on to the turbo... can anyone help me out with this?

It would probably run strange, and not be reccomended. Might as well get a blow through type of maf.
I guess I came from the DSM world and thats what they would tell you...Plus it already compensates for the bypass vaulve, sooooooooooooooooo unless you vent to atmosphere, and have it tuned I dunno.
I wouldn't do it on my rb20.. Just saying.
Whats wrong with a intake pipe?

nothings is wrong i just wanna do a better dress up for the car so i was wondering if i would be fine if i did that. i had seen a s14 with a KA-T and he had his MAF located by the throttle body.

have done this with rb, sr, and ka's. The only problem is if you have any blow by the maf will need to be cleaned often, as it starts to act up. I personally don't like it but whatever suits your build. Hope this helps.
