First of all: If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. Don't shit in my for sale thread. thanks. Please read on!
It has come time for me to sell my beloved Project. I no longer have room for it and hate to see it go but at my brothers urging I've decided to just sell it.
When I purchased this car, the body and chassis started pretty much in the same situation as they are in now. It is primered white (original color was gunmetal grey) with the exception of the front end. I threw on a really haggard front end just to keep it looking streetable so that neighbors wouldn't call it in for towing. The hood is in horrible shape and one of the fenders is pretty beat. The front bumper is just ziptied on. Like I said, it was just thrown together to make it look "nice" until I got it running and registered.
When I purchased the car, it also came with what looks to be a custom 6 point cage with door bars. The welds aren't very pretty in places, but it still does the job. As you can see in the pictures, it has no windshield and no driver side corner window. It came like that, so don't ask me why. It had also come with what I was told to be a freshly rebuilt motor. Apparently it wasn't timed correctly and when the previous owner turned it on, the valve hit the piston and then the cam snapped. Again, that's all I know. So I bought a running s13 KA from a friend. It was rebuilt and ran very strong in his car with no problems before we pulled it. I'll list the mods on the motor below. When it came time to install the motor in my car, I did a few things in preperation of registration and future plans. I added a KA-t oil pan (oil return bung welded on) and bought a cap for it so that it could be run without a turbo set up for a while. Then I made my hugest mistake, I decided to put smog equipment on the car. Since the previous owner of the motor wasn't running smog equipment, he had rerouted certain vacuum lines. So after routing them back to what I was stock, I installed the motor and tranny in the car, filled it with fluids and she started. Sadly though, the motor had problems. It will idle fine, but suddenly die and if you try to rev it, the motor bogs, but once it gets past 2500 rpm it will run fine. I'm assuming it was the vacuum lines since that was the only thing changed.
I no longer can work on the car at home or my brother's house so i'm forced to sell it. In the recent pictures of the car I've taken, its on jackstands because I was preparing to pull the motor again, but I've come to my senses and realized I just need to focus on other things right now.
I have decided to let the entire car go for $3500 or best offer. If you think my price is high and are serious, please go ahead and make a reasonable offer but please don't shit in my thread. The entire list of modifications is below. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I'm not hiding anything.
