So I am trying to sell my Z because I can't bring my self to chop it up/strip such a clean early VIN number. This is my weekend car so I hardly drive it since I have a 280zx. I want to sell this so I can move on to a more "common" VIN Z that I could literally race out. The VIN is literally RLS30-000090, as in it's the 90th 260z to be made for the US. It's set up pretty aggressively, But it's hard to do any more with out cutting and welding which I don't want to do. I've owned this car for 3 years and have loved it ever since, I've just finally gotten power/track hungry and want a real project car.
Asking price is $8500 OBO and trades are welcome, manual cars or haul trucks. Just no s14's since I think they look gay.:squint:

-The rear half of the interior is black (panels in great shape, no cracking) but the tranny tunnel, door panels and headliner are tan.
Cons:
My driver front wheel popped off and ended up smashing the fender, So I got a new fender from the junkyard but it's painted flatback. It also has holes for the Datsun fender Emblem, the pass side doesn't have an emblem.
The driver window rail slid down so when the window is fully up there is a wind noise, not that it matters since I can normally neevr hear it over the damn car.
Mismatched interior( hald black, half tan) but all the parts needed in black can be bought new from various suppliers.
Pros:
Everything works in this car, guages work although that tach is on its way out, but 90% of the time it works( other 10% it bounces around)
Window wipers work, Combo switch has no problems
It has heater and AC. Ice cold AC. Let me repeat, this car has AC.
There is no rust on the Unibody, and the frame rails are straight
(hatch has a rust hole, but you will get a new clean hatch. Also the new fender has a pinhole sized rust spot that can be welded up)
Honetly all the car needs is a good paint job( this paint job was a cheap $600 one day paint shop) and the weatherstripping replaced and you're set for a badass street car. I daily drove this thing in it's current stage (minus the rebuilt carbs) for about 2 months. I've taken it cross country( before the engine rebuild). The Beach shots are in Daytona Beach, and that was the only time it was ever on the beach, it actually almost got stuck.

This car is streetable, but not street friendly unless you drive like a jackass. The clutch takes some getting used to and the carbs/cam combo require a certain skill. Come for a ride and you will see what I mean, but when this thing gets up to 3-4k it gets crazy. Torque all the way to 7k and pulls without a problem, this engine likes to be punished. I went on a cruise to angeles crest this weekend. I will post pics of the VIN later and new filters tonight.
This car is registered and up to date. Clean title no accidents/theft. You don't need to smog it since it's pre 75, feel free to swap in anything and not give a F***!
You will also be getting various knick-knacks and extra parts that I have laying around, new hatch, different air filters, stock exhaust header, new front brake rotors/pads etc.
It will also be coming with a full history of all owners (I'm the 4th) and most of my receipts.
This is not a project car. It is pretty damn complete, like I said above. In my opinion it is more of a weekend car, but in desperate situations you could daily it.
If you want to see this car in person, shoot me a text. No driving without serious intent to buy/trade (read pink/cash in hand). Make me offer people, but I'm in no hurry to sell this thing.
