what does it do when you try to start it? pretty much what goddess asked you, thats important information to know whats not going and preventing the car from starting, could be serious or a dead battery, did you by any chance run the car with no oil? if so your screwed because your motor is most likely seized

thanks so much, bought the car ran like crap, wouldent go pass 5k rpm, replaced injectors and one of the pigtails grounded and i saw a spark but the car started back up but wouldent keep idle. so i replaced fuel filter and new spark plug wires and when i put them in the 'correct' order it wouldent start anymore, it cranks and i smell fuel from exhaust and a small pop would come, brand new battery after the old one took a crap.the wires looked like they werent in the correct order before i changed them.
and im up on like 23rd, right next to baldy/gmr if it runs we could do a quick cruise :)

I saw me and ^ roll though and handle lol. It can be so much we can't fix it through a computer (well droid for me) hit one of us and I'm sure we can roll through. Haha if your paying for gas what's the problem? I work for food (:

i agree with checking the fuel pump, as well as the starter, and starter sensor relay. was the car sitting for a long time before you bought it?

If it cranks no point in checking starter

Cool kid, his timing is fucking off like know other. Bad enough that we can not fix it the simple way with the distributor. Ogtta drop the pump to do it. We ran a comperssion test, didn't read good but I'm not one to trust autozone testers

when u crank it how does it sound .. does it have a contant sound when its cranking .. (nah nah nah nah nah) or does it dip down when u crank (nah nah nah naaa nah nah ) kinda stupid example but its one way to check for low to no compression in one cylinder.. also is their spark when u guys crank the car pull the pluges out and crank look at the pluges watch for spark.. maybe it has a bad coil.. also check for fuel pump and fuel filter maybe their clogged.. does the vehicle have a aftermaket alarm..maybe the alarm some how tripped a kill switch..

Hah i like this guy "works for food"

I work for food and gas money. Only 40 people though lol everybody else can pay up hah
And like I said, the compression test ran bad. Sounds bad, smells horrible. But the timing is off by like a mile. I advised him to fix his timing, then go from there. Once he gets that fixed, ill shoot over again

if compression is bad and it runs and smells bad .. i believe its time for new motor.. cause if timming was super off he may of bent a valve or even worst mad contact between the piston and the valve
