Had a couple questions about these devices. Do they actually provide a good amount of cooling? Are thye worth the $100ish price tag?

Also to see the full effects of this do you need an aftermarket bumper? Because if you look at Dousan DRFT kit it has that cut out probably for i/c and radiator air, but stock obvioulsy does not (91 S13). Thanks, Jason.

It will make a minor difference, is it worth it? Up to the buyer.

While you drive, not all the air you are taking in will hit the radiator, the panel helps close some gaps and allow more air to hit the radiator.

Think about how electric fans that are controlled by a thermostat, they will not turn on while driving over. .say 40mph, why ? because you are traveling fast enough to allow massive air to cool down the rad.

While it is a nice product, I would only buy it if one had a fmic blocking some air to the rad' and to cover up the ugly opening .. makes things look nicer under the hood :)
Just my 0.02
