Hate it or love it, I LOVE it. Pictures don't do the justice. It looks just like Porsche/Mercedes shit. Why? Why not. It's baller. I'll upload more better pics later. Also note, that this is Alpha stage ATM.

nah, take it out.

just go on ebay and get some cheapo HID lights, they're like $36 shipped and if they go bad they're still a good price to buy more, think of it this way, you're going to spend almost that same amount of money for regular halogen bulbs so why not buy cheapo hid kit from ebay?

off topic, i see your headlight bracket in that first pic, looks like my "S13" silvia headlight bracket, i wonder if their the same and a dopes are paying more money for parts we could have gotten in our local junk yard?

That looks cheap as shit.. No where near the Audi/MecerdesLlexus/etc.. Not even at the Kia or Ford level... It's stupid if you need it to be pitch dark to see them well.. They are supposed to be DRLs, so they can be seen clearly during the daytime... You are using the wrong type of LEDs..

I have had simular thoughts, but I wanted to try a led strip and try to bounce off the reflector in the houseing or somthing... wanting nothing more then another set of marker lights, for those twilight hours before the actual headlamps are required.

I have HIDs already. This is just like DLDL. Like i said, pics don't do the justice. I am about to finish it tomorrow.

I have no idea what bracket are you talking about.

Gotta see it before you can judge. Like i said, it's Alpha stage. My HLs are fully polished, waxed etc. Works like wonder.

Uhm, wrong. No need to see it in fuckin' dark, dude. I never said it was Super Duper quality, i just said it looks somewhat like them. You CAN see them clearly in daylight. And NO, I am not using wrongs leds. I have 5 meters of strip for my next project.

To clear things up - i did this for fun. Almost done (was working on some more important stuff) with the led strip. No like - it's ok. And once again - no need to be in "dark pitch" as R33E8 said. Grow up.

Most likely would not work. Thanks for the input tho. More pics comming soon, prolly tomorow - 6/18 or 6/19.

come off the parking led strip light 12v (http://www.ledstrips8.com/flexible-led-strip-lighting-c-32.html) relay on it that will make them work and it will be lot safer to wire them like this, you,ll need more wire though but that will keep them on a fused circuit, you could also wire them separately to a lighted switch that is powered off the the power junction box under the hood, just make sure you use an in line fuse with them, those are low voltage lights anyway so a 5 amp fuse led strip 12v (http://www.ledstrips8.com/led-light-bars-c-38.html) will work fine with them,my nephew has them on his neon and we came off the relay under the hood waterproof led strip light (http://www.ledstrips8.com/) for his, they work great wired like that, its much safer to,its easier of you can get a bare spot though to wire them in on the closest wire you can find on the park light circuit, good luck.
