Well my bud down in texas bought a 240, and he wants to sell it to me for 800$, then shipping which is from 800-1000, he said the only problem with it is it has a broken rod, is it worth it to fix that, seeing as the body is in good condition, and so is the rest of the car. Or is it better if he just sells it to somone down their?

i have no idea if anyone sells one rod.........but maybe from a junk yard or sumthing... rods run from 500-650 a set, if you gunna install them might as well rebuild you engine cuz you have to tear the block apart, you will have to get a new head gasket, so better bet a copper for sum performance one while your at it.........or maybe just a engine swap <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

I hate coupes, if i wanted a coupe i would get a s14, thats why i love s13s because of the fastback, i want to make a sil80, thats my dream car, and im not going to compromise my dream because it isent in my area, ive seen coupes in my area for 2gs 5spd coupe, i dident want it cuz it was coupe. Fastbacks are the main reason i love 240s

man,
simple buy an engine in Texas where the car is. If your friend got you the car then he can get an engine too. Then just take a trip down to see him fly if possible . Stick the engine in while your there and drive the #### thing home. are we missing something here?
