Any recommendations? I'm located in 91737, ca. I have a trailer, but don't want to travel (http://zilvia.net/f/#) out more than 50 miles. Even if someone can come by (travel mechanic) would be cool too.

Problem: Clutch will not disengage, i suspect it to be a bent clutch fork or??

Feel free to PM with a quote if you're a mechanic.

Thanks,

John

SOOOO with the clutch pedal down & the car in gear, cranking engine car wants to roll. Try bleeding the clutch first or inspect the slave cylinder. Then get a helper have him or her push pedal down. You get under car and see if the fork is moving in & out like it should. Then go from there.

Clutch forks dont just bend on there own out of the blue.

Have you done work to associated parts/area or the problem just started ???

is your car by any chance auto to manual conv? i had a car that was i clutch kicked it and wasnt able to put it in gear anymore, i could only speed shift it, long story short ended up finding out the car had no pilot bushing and still had the old a/t bushing, put pilot bushing in and back to normal
