they say that these are suppose to keep your alloys cleaner, but the guy i work with here has an subi 22b rs and he says that regular driving to work his rims are black (normally gold) my rims are white, and im feeling the wrath already...btw i have brembo crossdrilled and so does he.
does anybody have these, if so how much dust is collected over a day??

i dont know yet how muck brake dust the brembo brakes put out yet ( havent got to drive them yet)
but the best thing i found for keeping your rims clean is to wax them once a month
and it make it so much easyer to clean them off
no water of cleaner i just take a towel and wipe it off when i hanging around shoting the shit with the guys

I agree w/ my240... virtually any decent pads will lay a lot more dust than stockers. The best way to fight it is to keep ahead of it. Waxing, Pam (the cooking spray), or Rainx all work to make it easier to clean.
I know that uuninja has these pads - perhaps he (w/ gunmeatal wheels) will chime in?

oh..btw, since greenstuff is made out of kevlar (the same stuff bullet proof vests are made out of) they have sick stopping power...like...pick your teeth out of the steering wheel stopping power

Yeah. I have EBC greenstuff pads. The dust they put out is virtually none. The only time my rims have become nasty is when I sprayed armor-all tire gloss on them, and it was sticky, runny goop. But since cleaning that crap off, I have put 2000miles on my rims, and no brake dust.

how durable are they compared to stock pads? are they gonna have to be replaced every 10k miles or......?

I've seen that 22B at an autox where all the local subies showed up. A double take was had by all.
As for the pads, IMHO, EBC are waaay overrated. Decent bite (b/c they eat rotors like I eats cookies), but they heat up fast and fade. I've heard some really bad stories from people who used them at track days. Probably fine for the street though (except for the rotor thing).
