View Full Version : my rear end :p
OK, so im looking at getting the drive shaft for my RB swap in my S13... but im pretty sure the guy i got the car from said the rear subframe is from a S14. will that affect anything when buying the drive shaft?
guess i will go make me an intro thread too! :)

Driveshaft length will have to be custom either way
S14 subframe -> S13 chassis will need offset subframe bushings (SPL)

Just buy one and try it.
If it doesn't work buy another one and try that.
Lather rinse repeat. Measuring is for nerds.
ok and is there any way to double check if there is actually a s14 rear subframe on my car?

Not to jack your thread but if you do have an s14 sub, I have an 1 piece steel s14-RB driveshaft for sale.

You live in America and seem to understand the English language.
Do some research on the internet.
This belongs in the small questions thread anyway.

fastest way to see if you have an s14/s15 subframe is to look at the mounting points on the rear cover or the diff. if it is solid mount with 4 nuts then its s13. if it is 2 nuts in bushings then it is s14/s15
example:
this is an s14/15
