Woah!! So excited...

My grandmother's friend owns a '94 Mercedes SL600 and wants to replace the speakers in the door.  Sure, they're Bose and all, but they're seven years old.  He's also a record producer, so I assume he's the kinda guy that cares about good sound.

Anyway, so he saw me workin' on my car and asked if I could do this.  He said some installation place wanted to rip him off because they "saw the car and not the task at hand".  Probably fair.  So, he said if I wanted to do it, that'd be great.

Honestly, I'm a little afraid of even touching that car, let alone taking any aspect of it apart.  But, I welcome the challenge.  He would buy the spekers, I would put them in.  All said and done, I plan on telling him I did it for no charge - just as long as he lets me drive it.

And, man, if that works .. you know I'll come back to post what it was like.  =)

I havn't done anything to the car. &nbsp;And when/if I do, it certainly won't make me any cooler. &nbsp;But for those few glorious minutes (if he lets me) I'm in that driver's seat, I'll certainly feel that way.

Just let me be excited. &nbsp;=)
