here is what my sister did as the new logos. She said the car could change to whatever but you get the basic idea. So here they are.

Its very good but I would go with coolrow's old design if we were doing something like that.

Right now, I think im going to stick with something similar to the one I originally posted.

why don't we vote on it, it seems to me that everyone has liked it so far,(any of the others weren't liked by most) ? this is everyone's forum right? Power to the people!!! j/k ! I'll tell her that everyone said thanks.

that top one looks awesome.. very professional looking, i would do something about making the car look more realistic, or more likeing to our beloved 240's. But tell her thanx, they look great, and we appreciate it.:D

I just noticed the wheels are the dots for the i's. Thats dope!

Anyone have the Nissan Font, id like to see some other variations of that with fonts and maybe a 240 outline.

Here is coolrow's design. He did it in the same font as the current zilvia logo.

I could always get ahold of coolrow and get his designs and use all of them and rotate them...

the fastback exhaust is on the wrong side...

coolerows are good too
but too busy if its for a car sticker
those seem more suitable for a logo ON zilvia.

i like his, but i don't like the actual logo. i'll see if heather can put the 180, s13, s14 and s15 car bodies instead of the one its there. She can probably imitate the Nissan Shift font, if thats what your talking about. Pic out your favorite side shots of all those cars and i'll send them to her. she is willing to work with us. Trust me, she can do anything, well almost. thanks.

My thoughts exactly, Maybe I will incorperate the current Zilvia stickers with coolrows just to see what that looks like. Then I could use one for a logo, one for a sticker.

the s13 silvia one looks best
i would say the kouki s14 looks best but the USDM front bumper is SUPER ugly!! UGH
the zenki is nice
the s13 is cool..minus exhaust thing (easy fix, coolerow is great artist)

to me, i dont know. that zilvia.net logo font (on the blue/white one from coolerow) just seems outdated to me. maybe because ive seen it for so long.

Thatd be cool! Im thinking its the Shift font. Just whatever Nissan uses for its Nissan symbols. I dont care what car you use, I like them all because it shows most of the cars.

I found the nissan font after a quick search on google...

Nissan logo font (http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/urw/nissan/#stylelist)

Here is a sample of what Zilvia.net would look like in that font...

I like the Silvia S13 as well but it's going to need some more camber and a lower offset. :D

The ones posted by WeST, coolrow's design are really good. They show all the good characteristics of each car. I like both font styles. :boink:

The ones posted by Nismo240SX, his sister's design are hideous. :down: The font is horrible, the Zivia logo looks very generic and the car at the top is a bit ambiguous. It's unclear what kind of a car it is. Looks more like a silhouette of Ford Probe or an old Eclipse. :barf:

I concur.

Lose the Tempus Sans font and use something more blocky, like the Nissan font or the already applied Impact-ish font. I'm really diggin the outlined drawings of the S13s and S14s, but lose the little designations next to each graphic ("S13", "S14", etc). From there, decide the colors.

Does your opinion matter any more than mine, or for what matter does any opinion really matter? Not really. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink. That being said i would hate to see some people going to a www.zima.net (which happens to be a fairly wierd site at first glance because they didn't look hard enough at the logo.

i like the top one.

also the font that is on the s14s that 240SX is written in would be a good one to right zilvia.net in.

don't know how hard that would be to find.

Hmmm I like the one in the nissan font. that looked pretty sweet! Mark, honestly, I like the stickers the way they are now...they look good, easy to read, and they get people askin "what's zilvia.net" well, at least I have been asked, don't know about anyone else. My 2 cents.

The original poster's logos may not print cleanly with the gradient glow around it.

Yup, you're exactly right.

I've done a lot of work in photoshop/in design/illustrator and i know for a fact that outter glow/gradient glow doesnt print well unless its on a really dark background.

IMO, I say we keep the current design. Like Lisa said, they look good and they're easy to read.

This is a logo I just threw down, I don't know if anyone actually likes it. I just did a little editing in like 15 min. Tried to keep it simple and smooth. I don't know what I think of it yet, and I don't know if my opinion matters becuase I have like 15 posts and I am a newbie, but hey I am trying.

Thanks a bunch, that means a lot knowing that my newbieness is not a total joke to everyone, and I appriciate the input on the logo. I just like the services that Zilvia.Net provides so I thought I would try to help them out. I like the original myself, but this one I designed is kinda cool. hehe
