Would this be a good upgrade for only $105? i was going to get them for christmas... I talked to Aaron and he said the subframe spacers are a good first small upgrade to go with. My car is 100% stock as of now. but im trying to do some small suspension mods before i do anything major to the car. Tell me what you think about this product.

That is what I want to get on my car next. I would go to www.splparts.com they are much cheaper. I have dealt with them and they are good people.

i dotn have them but i've see them and talked w/ folks who do

quality is excellent
fitment is top notch

[email protected] posts here too (not sure if has the .com in his screename)

they are known for EXCELLENT customer service (to the point of annoying and torture---they keep you soooooooo up to date)

and they are making low priced, high quality parts in the USA whic is great because it keeps us from paying a premium for JDM bling.

about advantage, ruf put:

Stiffer - much more reinforcement.
Antisquat - much less kickup on the LCA mounts. Makes the rear end more predictable.

pics, writeup, measurements when i get the time.

top of subframe
the bottom go on bottom

so

car chassis

subframe spacer (top)

subframe

subframe spacer (bottom)

bolt

so it sandwiches it in. even less play. quite a difference too.

ooooooo iiiiii seee.

thats interesting. i was going to have the botoms made at a machine shop, but ill rethink that now that i know you can fit some on top. is the design for the top the same as the bottom? sorry for the REtardo questions, im cheap. :D

Jeez man.... You can see that its not the same for top and bottem if you just look at the pic on there site!

And if you dont do the slit in the tops it makes em a bitch to install... So then I would just go with solid bushings....

BTW thanks for that site (lok) They have awsome pricess on there parts... Guna get me some solid bushings now :)

So far i'm up to 3k of parts I need for my suspension

EDIT: added a line

subframe spacers are great. before when i tried to swing my rear out, id get a lot of vibration from my rear suspension. kind of like trying to launch your car, letting go of the clutch, without pressing the gas and having the car stutter. it was like that except it would persist no matter how much gas i give it. after i did the bottom only subframe spacers, problem was fixed.

ok i've heard several times that ur not supposed to install the bottom and top spacers?Choose one. yet i keep hearing different, plus when i search all the information is conflicting and doesnt give a proper answer.

So
top and bottom, top , bottom, or preference.. which is it. i want to have a stable feeling in the rear end. thanx
