DIY garages in Los Angleles OR Change my brakes for me

I moved to downtown LA one year ago from Chicago one year ago and still don't have any of my old tools, jacks, or stands, let alone a garage. Is there such a thing as a DIY garage (with tools?) that you can roll up to, pay an hourly rate, and fix your car?

My 240 is back in Chicago, but the Ford Focus I've been driving is in serious need of some new front brake pads. I'd rather just to do it myself, but if someone out there has a full garage, 45 minutes, and would like to make $30, please let me know! I've got the pads!
