hey i got a bee r limiter. got it in a trade. never installed it. the guy i got it from said it wirked fine so i am goin off what he said.



So the car starts fine and everything, it revs and drives like the limiter isn't even there.
But the thing is the limiter does not work at all. No matter where the gain is it doesn't work. The red light doesn't even come on.

Checked the wiring, the red is getting positive, the black is getting ground, and the green and yellow are hooked up the way all the write ups say. Even if the green and yellow were reversed, the car wouldn't start,

ok guys. ya i had problems with this thing on my car......but the thing is, my car is the biggest electrical mess i have ever seen due to the previous owner chopping up the harness things like when i open the passenger door the lights go out on my dash, radio, and my clock turns off and resets when the door closes. the wipers stay on all the time when plugged in, reverse lights dont work, the brake lights had to be rewired to work, the whole part of the chassis harness through the passenger side is missing, alot of the wiring on the motor harness isnt there...... so its a mess.

honestly you guys come in here and crap on my thread not knowing me. if somebody buys this and they install it and it doesnt work, i would give them their money back and go back to the guy i got it from.

im just assuming it doesnt work because my car sucks....

also if somebody wants to wire this into their car before buying they can or if somebody want to be a test subject for it, by all means come give it a try.

im not out to screw anybody, i am a legit dude, i have delt with a few people on here that could hopefully vouch for me.

yea, why not just be honest from the start? people will always understand the truth... dont just come in and say that you never installed it, when you clearly did.

if you had been honest from the beginning, saying that you installed it, but your car is an electrical mess, then people might think, hey maybe nothing is wrong with it.

Screw it I'm just gunna hold onto it. But still if anybody wants to test it, feel free to come try it out. If it works, $150 and its yours.

I bought one off a forum member on here almost two years ago for like $200. Said he pulled it out of his car and it worked fine. Seemed like a legit dude, kept in contact real well, everything seemed fine. Got the Bee R, wired it in, had the same problems you had except the "Rev Limiter" light would come on, but wouldnt actually cut the ignition. Called a BEE R distributor, said it was a faulty unit. Called/texted/PM'd the dude I got it from, who happen to just disappear off the face of the earth. So I got dicked out of the money.

SOOOO what I did a few months later is put it up for sale. Told the entire story, posted the link to my inquiry thread like yours, clearly stated I wasn't sure if it could be fixed or not. $125 shipped, and it was in the buyers hands to work with it.


It sold in less than 24 hours. Honesty is always the best policy.

well im not the kind of guy that would just dissapear. honestly i posted this from my phone at 1 o clock in the morning quick just to see if somebody was interested in it i wasnt wanting to make a huge classified ad with the whole story.
if i was a shady person looking to screw somebody, i would have sold it to the first guy that texted me asking me to ship it. with paypal ready. im not that kind of guy and i dont ship for exactly that reason, cuz if something ever goes wrong i take care of it.

so sorry if i came off as a "shady" dude honestly i was just to lazy to post stuff up. being the reason i said just text me.

no they dont... its the same thing as this... if that warning sticker wasnt there under a car, some people might still try to jack up their car by placing the jack under their oil pan...

also, im sure back in the day, you didnt search a persons posts when you bought from them :-/
